I would like to start off my new and improved food blog with a post dedicated to the one and only Florida State Fair.
Every year my friends, fiance, and I go to the fair and completely pig out on the latest and greatest in fair food. We always sample the old tried and true food groups but every now and then we get to sample something out of the ordinary and hopefully delicious. I invite you to take a a culinary tour of this years Florida State Fair through our photos below!
This was a new find and DELICIOUS.
Every year we saw it but we never dared try it… until now. We did it, it did not taste bad but it was odd…
Another new item this year at the fair. I have to say I was disappointed with this one ๐
An oldie but a goodie… oh so goodie.
They had just run out of the PB sauce so I was left with dry fried chicken ๐
This is a staple of our diet at the fair. We eat this at least twice if not more usually first, mid way, and last ๐
This new find seemed pretty tame but was OUT OF CONTROL.
This was so rich and tasty. Another new find this year!
We each carry a jug around like this getting $1 sweet tea refills all night. So good.
This may be the most unique thing I have ever had at the fair. It was scrumptious and I loved the concept!
Never have I ever left the fair without a bag of kettle corn. It’s a tasty tradition.
This year the fair did not let us down. We tried new foods that were delicious and some not so good too but overall it was another great success!
