This recipe is delicious and doesn’t break the bank as far as calories go! I am trying desperately to eat healthier and exercise before our wedding cruise in September. I have experimented with a lot of low-cal recipes and ideas that have been less then savory. This is one of the few I’ve come across that I actually really like. I thought the turkey might end up dry and/or rubbery but I was pleasantly surprised to find the meat had a normal taco consistency and was not dry at all.
You are going to need what you would usually use for tacos, nothing out of the ordinary here other than the turkey!
If I have one complaint it would be the sauce was a little thin, I think next time I will experiment with a few tricks to thicken it up a bit 🙂
I apologize for my phone pic here but I brought these with me to work and prepared them for lunch, it was quick, super easy to make, and then enjoy for lunch.
